![]() | My first published book. Follow along as a young man explores life and relationships. Set in everyday life my main character gets closer to a friend he's been avoiding for his conflict with his use of drugs. As they get to know each other they discover not only are they not all they seem to be on the surface, but that the town itself that they live in has a few secrets that they begin to discover. This story has a focus on a boy who's about to be drawn out by his friend. It focuses in how they get closer and how they deal with what they are doing. Also on how coming to the truth of the matter generates problems and solutions. Vivid depictions of how these characters interact. In looking over this I have written a story about what it's like to find out what it's like to be gay as a young man. Who do you tell? How far do you go to find out for sure? Available E-book (Adobe & MS Reader) 500 Pages | Part one of two Purchase in print from Lulu Preview 144 Pages, PDF format |
![]() | The continuation of the story. While writing this I intended it as a single book but it became rather large rather quickly. At some point I had to consider the limitations of print and split the book in two parts. In finding the right spot to split it I discovered an existing transition between the character's experience that's similar to the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. At this junction the main character is now on the other side and looking back. The transition is not easy. Life just gets more complicated for him. His relationship with his new found lover deepens and he reclaims part of his life that has been missing while losing parts that he had had. His old conflict gets replaced by a new one. Available in E-book (Adobe & MS Reader) 392 Pages | Part two of two Purchase in print from Lulu

It wasn't a big deal for me. What bothers me the most is that I was selling copies on that site. Which meant I could tell people were reading my books, which was more important to me than the money. Now those people who paid for books on that site can no longer get to them if they don't have a downloaded copy. February 10, 2005 Wicked Winds is now available as a whole book.
